The Fighter Collection and IWM are delighted to announce that tickets for the 2012 Gold Pass enclosure are now on sale.

Watch our world famous event from the comfort and luxury of the Gold Pass Enclosure located on the flight line at this historic RAF fighter base. This year we will witness another splendid line up of the truly great propeller driven historic aircraft of years gone by. Get even closer to these legendary icons by taking part in the Flight Line Walk, accessed directly from the Gold Pass enclosure. Sit back and enjoy the Flying Legends souvenir programme containing wonderful stories of man and machine and marvel at seeing some of these very same aircraft at Flying Legends.

Don’t’ forget, your Flying Legends Gold Pass gives you access to the IWM Museum exhibits, including some of the best preserved First and Second World War RAF buildings in the country and make sure to visit the 1940’s Operations Room. Stand and listen to the wonderful sounds of The Manhattan Dolls, a New York based Swing-Jazz vocal trio with the sound of The Andrews Sisters.

The Manhattan Dolls are a New York City based 1940s swing-style female vocal trio with the sound of The Andrews Sisters. Started by former USO Girls, The Dolls travel the world performing for military events, air shows, award ceremonies, parades, jazz clubs, concert series, you name it! They have been featured on BBC Radio London, LX 4 NY, The Tucson Morning Blend and more. They have the pleasure of performing with famous bands including The Jive Aces in the UK and The Stan Rubin Orchestra in NYC.

The Fighter Collection are pleased to announce that Flying legends 2012 Air Show will be held on Saturday 30th June & Sunday 1st July. This date has been selected to de-conflict with Olympic Air Space restrictions and other major events in the UK. We can confirm that we will be reverting to our usual July date in 2013. Flying Legends 2012 Tickets will be available on line in the very near future, and we look forward to welcoming you back to another outstanding air show.
