Since the last installment in the rebuild the aeroplane has been repainted back into her original 2I-T colour scheme. A lot of the hard work rubbing the aeroplane down was done by the Fighter Collection volunteers over the Easter weekend to ensure we made our window of time in the museums spray facility.

Royston Signs where able to match the original script of the stencils in a vinyl spray through mask, which made the job of replacing the large number of them quite painless.

Unfortunately several bits of spitfire have continued to be a problem, however the engine ground runs have been completed and a test flight this week looks very likely.
