The annual inspection on the Wildcat continues with the oil cooler still away for repair and the temporary removal of the engine to fit replacement dynafocal engine mountings (the original rubbers showing some signs of distress).

A new set of mountings has been sourced from Ted Holgerson at California Airframe Parts Co. and should be with us courtesy of Fedex as we speak. Hopefully the job shouldn't take to long and the aeroplane will be ready for its first outing of the year at Duxford May 06 show.
