| The Corsair has completed the painting work which sees it on the show circuit this year as KD345 of 1850 Sqn based on HMS Vengeance of the British Pacific Fleet in December of 1945. The scheme is essentially an all over deep blue, the large white British Pacific Fleet roundel and a bright yellow cowling. The paint job took two runs as there was a discrepancy with some of the pigments used first time around. After the whole airframe had been sanded over a second time, a consistent coat was applied. | |
