The Hellcat had a problem after the Flying Legends show, when one of the forward attachment bolts on the tail plane was found to have sheared through.

Fatigue was found to have been the cause of the failure, and the offending bolt - and its mate from the other side of the tail plane, have been sent away for study.

New bolts are awaited before the tail plane - which has been removed from the aircraft completely now, can be reassembled and refitted to the aircraft.
